Modeling the Tutor-Learner Interaction in an E-Learning Environment: An Instructional Design Perspective
Full recordShow full item record
AbstractImportance of modeling the rapport between tutor and learners in an e-learning environment arises from a learner-centered design approach in which it is essential for the designer to plan the support for learners. This paper describes the implementation of a graphical knowledge modeling approach developed at LICEF Research Center to orchestrate the processes and resources of tutors and learners. Organized into strata, the model allows representing the various roles of the tutor in an e-learning environment. Advantages of this approach include a filtering mechanism to facilitate management of complex interactions between tutor and learners.
