LIIEBRE (Local Integrated and Interactive E-hyperbooks for Basic and Recreational Education) is a project which context is the great educational software development universe. The name suggests a bond between wide interesting topics and concepts related to Multimedia and Education, but basically, LIIEBRE is a hypermedia application focused on Basic Education and it is intended to improve the primary school teaching techniques, as it was presented in the roundtable of the First National Meeting on Basic Education Research for the Financed Projects by the Sectorial Found SEP/SEBYN-CONACYT 2003, which ocurred from December second to the fourth of 2004 in the city of Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. Modern researches show learning and teaching problems in Mexican primary school such as a reality with great difficulties and challenges to encourage. So it is clear the purpose of improving the teaching quality and guaranting a better academic performance in Mexican Basic Education.Date
