AbstractThis paper discusses the implementation of web-based primary sources in twoundergraduate history modules at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. It outlinesthe purpose of implementing Information and Communications Technology (ICT)and the different approaches taken by lecturers to the use of computer assistedinstruction. The implementation employed a range of evaluation instruments bothquantitative and qualitative, before and after the modules were taught. The resultsof the evaluation and the implications of the findings are debated.
