Abstract
Abstract: This paper will include critical information for administrators and faculty in higher education to develop and implement an on-line master's degree program in Technology/Human Resource Development. Students enrolling in the MS degree program can also add Trade and Industrial Teacher certification to their degree plan or students may elect to complete only the T&I Teacher Certification portion of the program without pursuing the Master of Science degree. Administrators must identify an array of preliminary considerations prior to execution of courses. These include faculty, support staff, logistics, and expenditures. Being aware of these obvious and the often-unanticipated factors in the implementation of a successful online degree program, the administrator can be a leader in ensuring a smooth transition into the rapidly changing technological world of higher education.
