Supporting Faculty and Students in Collaborative Technology Integration Activities: Learning Generation Innovation Cohorts
AbstractAbstract: School of Education faculty members want and need to provide effective examples of technology integration to their students. Learning Generation, a 1999 PT3 project has created and implemented a model system for helping faculty members learn new technology skills and to develop effective technology integration models. This is called the Learning Generation Innovation Cohort Model. A key factor in this model is the support provided to the members of the cohorts. This paper discusses the procedures and systems for supporting participants in the cohort process that can help replicate the success of the Learning Generation Cohort model at other institutions.
