Abstract: An effective means by which to communicate both the importance and the application of technology into the classroom setting by preservice education students requires a curriculum that exposes students to theory in addition to technical skills. Equal importance must be placed on the elements of application, acceptance of change, and ongoing collaborative efforts. Chatham College prepares its students to apply technology in the classroom by integrating these elements into the curriculum of its education program. In particular this process is a major element in the Master's of Arts in Teaching program on the Chatham Campus.Date
