Abstract
The dual mandate of clinical teaching and research activities at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of Montreal University (FMV) is being traduced by a huge production of original multimedia content. The main challenge was to develop a series of protocols and tools intended to limit the direct interventions of the faculties and the technical staff in the data entry, the treatment, the archiving and the distribution of the multimedia material. To facilitate the appropriation of the digital technologies by the unexperienced users, the LITIEM created a vast data repository that integrate all of the different aspects of digital information management in a one-stop location easily accessible. Because it is easier to coordinate the available documents via a unique source and so promote the creation of original material, sharing resources between faculties favours the realization of didactic quality material.
