DO: Design Odyssey® The P.J. Effect: Success Skills for the Virtual Workplace

Abstract

This is a totally interactive and immersive exercise. Participants will be given a problem based learning (PBL) package and will discover, design and present solutions and exercise for teaching and training behavioral skills critical to success in a virtual world. For both faculty and online learners, certain communication and behavioral skills (such as self-management, setting priorities, and aligning connections) are critical to success in the online environment, yet many individuals do not possess these skills. This workshop helps to identify those skills and present creative solutions that enhance them.
