Abstract
El presente artículo ofrece un estudio circunscrito a la influencia de la tradición clásica en la poesía de Miguel de Unamuno. Atiende, en este sendero, a los diferentes mitos manejados por el escritor, sus fuentes grecolatinas y elementos temáticos, sobre todo, en lo que concierne al simbolismo. La poesía española áurea es también tenida en cuenta como fuente de inspiración unamuniana. De hecho, el poeta bilbaíno, en la forja del contenido literario propuesto, exhibe un elevado conocimiento de la materia grecolatina, vernácula y mítica, enriquecida, de forma meditada, en virtud de significados bajo las directrices y parámetros de la religión cristiana.
The present article offers a study circumscribed to the influence of the Classical tradition on the Miguel de Unamuno�s poetry. This work studies, in this way, the several myths used by the writer, its Greek- Latin sources and thematic elements, specially attached to the symbolism. The Spanish Golden Age poetry is also analyzed as the Unamuno�s source of inspiration. In fact, the poeta of Bilbao, in the forge of the literary subject proposed, shows a high knowledge of the Greek-Latin, vernacular and mythical matter, enriched, in a pondered way, by means under the directives and parameters of Christian religion.
