GENDER DALAM PERSPEKTIF PEMIKIRAN PEMBAHARUAN M. SYAHRUR

Abstract

<p>This following article discusses the reform ideas by modern Muslim thinkers. His name is M. Shahrur. His idea is important to consider because it provides another alternative to the impasse mind of the Muslims society. Traditional interpretations are often indifferent to the values of justice and equality sued by him. Therefore, he is often considered a controversial figure. In this paper, the idea of renewal Shahrur just discussed with regard to gender relations, genitalia and polygamy. Finally, the authors want to show that the idea of this update is a reflection of the melting of the ice in the world have Muslim society thought.<br /><br /><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Keywords : Reform, M.
