HELDER CAMERA AND OSCAR ROMERO. Reflections of a historian on two pastoral itineraries

Abstract

The article aims to analyze similarities and differences between
 the pastoral trajectories of Dom Helder Câmara and Oscar Romero, two
 of the main figures of the “Church of the Poor”. It also proposes an
 explanation of the processes leading to the social conversion of both
 religious men.
