Abstract
The connections between Pentecostalism and cultural substrate is a topic of interest of sociologists of religion. My thesis also maintains that "Success" of Pentecostalism over other forms of Protestantism is, the least partly related to their ability to grow in the substrate the worldview of pre-existing popular religiosity. I think the evidence It shows that these connections are not simply a superficial level but at the deepest level of worldview assumptions. The dominant assumption is that spiritual power exists and can reach and apply to individual life situations"]
