Abstract
It is in this article to argue that the work The concept of irony, its author, Kierkegaard (1813-1855), despite the fact of conceiving it as a research on the so-called ironic figure of speech, is entangled in serious and deep conceptual contradictions in addressing indistinctly such as figure 1) subjectivity (Socratic), 2) critical (Enlightenment), 3) romantic irony, and 4) what he himself calls "dominated irony." Thus, using me as hermeneutics platform, the work and historian Critical Crisis R. Koselleck, I try to disentangle these contradictions in order to demonstrate that behind this conceptual blurring the work The concept of irony is, beyond the most superficial question of irony (as figure of speech) as wire deeper driver the question of nihilism"]
