Abstract
This article tries to elucidate the discourse of execution of Amrozi cs in Kompas and Republica, two national newspapers. The author shows that although the both newspapers are national level, they have deferent opinion and interest behind this case. In the side of Republika the execution of Amrozi is seen as universal humanity problem, meanwhile for Kompas it is only seen as local case related to the persons involved in the incident. Republika provides enough room for developing the discourse on jihad and terrorism in order to build a counter opinion on the news that often offense Amrozi meanwhile Kompas convinces itself for not to involve in the discourse of theology.
