Abstract
Resumen: En el presente artículo se realiza un análisis reflexivo acerca de los procesos experimentados por losniños y las niñas entre los dos y los tres años, en relación con los cambios continuos y progresivos en lasdiferentes áreas del desarrollo, a saber socioafectiva, cognitivo-lingüístico y psicomotriz. Asimismo, se da aconocer la experiencia obtenida como docentes de la Casa Infantil Universitaria de la Universidad de Costa Ricaen cuanto a las generalidades del desarrollo en esta edad. Las particularidades presentadas por la poblacióninfantil que asiste a la institución, así como las estrategias seguidas para su atención. Se hace referencia a laexperiencia lograda durante el período del II Ciclo 2005 y el I Ciclo 2006, el cual constituyó una excelenteoportunidad para favorecer el desarrollo integral de las personas de esas edades y el crecimiento profesional ypersonal de las maestras de la Casa Infantil Universitaria. Finalmente, se brindan algunas estrategias yconsideraciones finales sobre cómo conducir y guiar a los niños y las niñas de esta edad en ambientes noescolarizados.Abstract: The next article is intended to make a reflexive analysis about the procedures experimented by the littleboys and girls between ages two to five years old, related to the continuous and progressive changes in thedifferent areas of the development, such as the socio/affective area, the cognitive/linguistic area and thepsychomotor area. Therefore, it is set to cheer the experience obtained as teachers of the Children’s UniversityHouse from The Costa Rican University as far as the generalities of the development in these age range, theparticularities presented by the children that attend this institution, as well as the strategies that were followed totake care of this population. Is focused mainly to the experience achieved among the 2005 II semester and 2006 Isemester periods, that was an excellent opportunity to favor the integral development of the children and theprofessional and personal growth of the teachers of this house. Finally, some final strategies and considerations are given about the management that can be given to the children in these age range.
