Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyze the process of social knowledge production related to the labor question at the Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales of the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba during the fi rst decades of the twentieth century. It particularly explores the way in which intellectuals created a group of methodological and conceptual tools from the social sciences to develop the first studies about the labor force problems. In order to accomplish this task, the production of a group of professors and researchers related to the Chair of Industrial Legislation is examined. This Chair was created in 1906 for the purpose of introducing the new contents of the labor law.
