Abstract
Goal: definition of the essence and stages of development of ideas on the nature of management technologies Methodology: system and historical approaches, comparative method, method of logic analysis Results: a want in use of technologies is identified and grounded as a reply to complicated market environment of business-organizations. The process of ideas transformation on the essence of management technologies is investigated as well as factors of influence among which are informatization, globalization, new concepts of management. Comparative analysis of approaches to definition of the concept management technologies is conducted; stages of dominant tendencies in development of management technologies are introduced. The authors propose a new list of characteristics of management technologies. Besides, modern tendencies in management technologies are identified, including the focus on complex technologies, as well as self-production of new management technologies. Field of application: results can be useful for developing a common perception of management technologies and concepts of management.Date
