FORMATION OF APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR OF PRESCHOOLERS AND PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN SITUATIONS OF COMMUNICATION WITH UNFAMILIAR ADULTS
Abstract
The main approaches to the understanding of a confidence phenomenon, its substantive characteristics and the conditions stipulating confidence of children in strangers are examined in the article. This article gives the author’s program of forming and developing of skills of adequate behavior of preschoolers and junior pupils towards strangers. The main stages of the program and the peculiarities of psychological activity at each of them are explained. The special role of the diagnostic work of a psychologist at the main and the final stage of the program is shown. Its results enable to define the level and the content of confidence of children in strangers as a whole and to identify the children with very high and very low levels of confidence as well. The program given in the article contributes to the solution of the important problem of the modern world which is connected with safety of children of preschool and junior school age.Date
