AN IMPROVEMENT IN PROFESSIONAL-PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE OF INSTRUCTOR OF INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION AS A SOCIALLY-PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM
Abstract
Problems of increasing requirements to the instructors of a primary professional education -instructors of industrial education, are discussed in this paper. Causes of insufficient level of their pedagogical training are identified together with a justification of necessary improvements in the professional pedagogical competence. Professional pedagogical competence of instructor of industrial education is defined as an integral assembly of knowledge, abilities, skills and personal qualities of an individual, that allow successfully to carry out educationally-industrial activities in order to prepare future workers. A particular set of difficulties, faced by an instructor in their work place, is discussed in this paper. It is argued that the success of the instructor’ activities is defined by the help obtained in their working place, in educational establishments through the process of overcoming the professional pedagogical difficulties. It is justified that the improvement of instructor of industrial education’s professional-pedagogical competence has to be implemented through the process of their professional activities. The difference between the process of improving the qualification and the process of improving the competence is clearly defined. A model to describe the problem professional-pedagogical competence improvement of an instructor of industrial education through the process of their professional activities is proposed and analysed.Date
