Abstract

<DIV align=justify>A partir de uma abordagem do mundo contemporâneo, dos novos paradigmas, da consciência planetária, da globalização, chegar-se-á à era digital, destacando-se os seus impactos sobre a valorização da informação e do conhecimento como bens de valor. Ressalta-se que a produção do conhecimento, na atualidade, é uma questão fundamental, tratando-se de uma teoria voltada à sua própria prática: ao mesmo tempo em que a fundamenta, subordina-se a ela, implicando necessariamente em mudanças no modo de pensar/atuar das pessoas. A educação também é parte desse cenário de mudanças e existem razões para que seja um referencial diferenciado na chamada “ sociedade em rede”, sendo uma situação emergente a mudança de postura no que diz respeito à migração da sua identidade como transmissora de informação e de cultura para uma condição de ensinar a aprender e a pensar, preparando pessoas para que prolonguem os benefícios da escola além da escola mesma, tornando funcionais os conhecimentos adquiridos e, sobretudo, para que saibam empregar o poder da inteligência na vida profissional e no seu cotidiano. Desse modo, enfatiza-se a importância da educação, sob enfoque de um novo paradigma conceitual e prático, voltada para a formação de cidadãos capazes de integrarem-se à era digital, cujo princípio fundamental acha-se embasado no desenvolvimento de competências para o uso da informação e na capacidade intelectual de transformá-la em conhecimento., com uma inovadora condição de aprendizado contínuo e crescente. Tudo isso frente aos desafiadores avanços tecno-científicos dos últimos tempos. A desinformação nessa era é talvez a razão da existência de muitos problemas sociais, uma vez que atinge o ser humano em sua maior propriedade: a racionalidade. O conhecimento é, portanto, o fator competitivo entre as pessoas e as sociedade, sendo importante ressaltar que do seu uso racional e da sua aplicação é que conseguimos caminhar rumo à inovação e desenvolvimento social. A transferência e a aplicabilidade dos princípios da aprendizagem significativa de Ausubel e do uso dos mapas conceituais merecem lugar de destaque , emergindo a sua representatividade como facilitadores das condições de trabalho integrado entre bibliotecários e educadores, os quais são co-responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento das competências características dessa sociedade em mudança, destacando-se dentre elas a competência em informação, tema em discussão no contexto mundial. Essas reflexões apresentadas pretendem focalizar, em síntese, a era digital e suas implicações para os profissionais da informação e da educação, destacando-se a importância da informação e do conhecimento como balizadores do processo de inovação e desenvolvimento social e as principais questões relacionadas à competência em informação, tendo como enfoque a aprendizagem significativa. <p><DIV align=justify>From a boarding of the world contemporary, of the new paradigms, the planetary conscience, the globalization, the digital age will be arrived it, being distinguished its impacts on the valuation of the information and the knowledge as value good. It is standed out that the production of the knowledge, in the present time, is a basic question, being about a proper theory directed to its practical one: at the same time where it bases it, it is subordinated it, implying necessarily in changes in the way of pensar/atuar of the people. The education also is part of this scene of changes and exists reasons so that it is a referencial differentiated in the call "society in net", being an emergent situation the position change in that it says respect to the migration of its identity as transmissing of information and culture for a condition to teach to learn and to think, preparing people so that they draw out the benefits of the school beyond the same school, becoming functional acquired knowledge e, over all, so that they know to use the power of intelligence in the life professional and its daily one. In this way, importance of the education is emphasized it, under approach of a new conceptual and practical paradigm, come back toward the formation of citizens capable to combine it the digital age, whose basic principle is found based in the development of abilities for the use of the information and in the intellectual capacity to transform it into knowledge, with an innovative condition of continuous and increasing learning. Everything this front to the challenging tecno-scientific advances of the last times. The disinformation in this age is perhaps the reason of the existence of many social problems, a time that reaches the human being in its bigger property: the rationality. The knowledge is, therefore, the competitive factor between the people and the society, being important to stand out that of its rational use and its application it is that we obtain to walk route to the innovation and social development. The transference and the applicability of the principles of the significant learning of Ausubel and the use of the conceptual maps deserve prominence place, emerging its representation as facilitator of the conditions of work integrated between librarians and educators, which are co-responsible for the development of the characteristic abilities of this society in change, being distinguished amongst them the ability in information, subject in quarrel in the world-wide context. These presented reflections intend to focus, in synthesis, the digital age and its implications for the professionals of the information and the education, being distinguished it importance of the information and the knowledge as makers of the innovation process and social development and the main questions related to the ability in information, having as approach the significant learning.
