Abstract

"As a Minister who is also a Magistrate, it is never long before one's 'real job' is revealed to fellow JP's. jane was a vibrant, lively 45 year old mother of a 21 year old daughter, Kerry. Mum was often listed to sit with me in the Youth Court, and retiring room conversations turned surprisingly often to matters of faith. In fact, working in a voluntary capacity in the Courts, as in many other fields, revealed how a very large proportion of those active in public service are Christians.
