Abstract
<p align="center"> </p><p align="center"><strong class="titulo1">RESUMEN</strong></p> <p class="tabulado" align="justify">La promoción de la salud en la actualidad, se presenta como una cuestión de interés social al incrementarse la tendencia al sedentarismo de forma paralela al desarrollo de la sociedad. En este sentido, la actividad física se presenta como un medio fundamental para alcanzar dicha promoción. Analizamos, pues, las competencias de diversas instituciones y personas responsables en su concreción, aspectos referentes a objetivos propuestos sobre la actividad física como medio para promocionar la salud, posibilidades de los profesionales sanitarios y papel del sistema educativo en la promoción de la actividad física. <br />PALABRAS CLAVE: Salud, promoción, actividad física, educación.</p> <p align="justify"> </p> <p align="center"><strong><span class="titulo1">ABSTRACT</span></strong></p> <p class="tabulado" align="justify">Health protection and promotion is a social issue since sedentary life is increasing as society develops. Physical activity is considered to be a fundamental means for achieving the goal of health protection and promotion. In this paper the roles of several institutions and personalities in such an achievement are assesed as well as the various aspects concerning physical activity as a means for enhancing health. The possibilities of participation of health professionals and the role of the education system in promoting physical activity are analysed as well. <br />KEY WORDS: Health, promotion, physical activity, education</p>

Export search results
