Abstract
El presente trabajo se propone realizar una presentación reflexiva del Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes (2006). Parte de un repaso del marco en el que ha tenido lugar su surgimiento (desde el proyecto Un Nivel Umbral y los Niveles de referencia del Consejo de Europa), para incidir después en algunas de las claves fundamentales de la obra. Por último, el artículo se cierra con algunas reflexiones sobre la posible proyección y utilidad del Plan curricular más allá del marco para el que ha sido concebido, en concreto, para la docencia de la lengua materna y las lenguas extranjeras en la enseñanza reglada en España. /////////The present work aims to make a critical description of the Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes (2006). First, it reviews the frame within which the Plan was originally devised (that is, the Threshold Level Project and the Common Levels of Reference elaborated by the Council of Europe). Secondly, it provides a thorough analysis of some of its key issues. Finally, it contributes some thoughts on the viability of implementing the Plan Curricular beyond the frame for which it had originally been conceived, more specifically, in the teaching of Spanish as the native language and of foreign languages in official curricula in Spanish educational institutions.

Export search results
