| dc.description.abstract | "O mapeamento de incêndios florestais é feito com base na classificação de imagens do satélite Landsat. Os sensores TM e ETM, a bordo dos satélites Landsat 5 e 7, respectivamente, conseguem diferenciar as marcas deixadas pelo fogo de superfície em florestas da Amazônia. Esta diferenciação é possível, pois estes sensores conseguem capturar a diminuição na proporção de biomassa/necromassa decorrentes do fogo, assim como a redução da quantidade de água no interior da floresta." | |
