Abstract
Self regulation is the process of thinking, organizing, and acting in accordance with the goals that have been planned. This study aims to understand and describe the regulatory d jealous teenager penghafal Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative approach, data collection using semi-structured interview techniques. Informants in this study were 13 teenagers memorizing Al-Qur'an of male and female sex, adolescents vulnerable age 11-21 years, who have school activities, organization and memorize Al-Qur'an, and adolescents stay at home and boarding , informants selected by purposive sampling. The results of the study obtained interview data, the self-regulation of the Qur'an memorizers teens tend to do poorly. Research done on 13 adolescent subjects penghafal Qur'an there are two subjects capable of regulating themselves well. Teenagers who are able to regulate itself properly marked with a high motivation to be able to memorize the Qur'an, the ability to manage time between school activities, organizations, activities dormitory, and activities memorize the Koran and able to excel both in academic and non-academic , their plans made and implemented in day-to-day activities. Thus, with good self-regulation the planned targets can be achieved. While 11 subjects have not been able to regulate themselves because it has not been able to memorize mengella time between activities and existing activities that affect the physical exhaustion resulting decline in mood in memorizing the Qur'an, determination and motivation are lacking, and kesusah a n in concentration .
