Abstract
"The transfiguration narratives (Matt 17:1-8; Mark 9:2-8; Luke 9:28-36), perhaps precisely because of their rich diversity and manifold possibilities of interpretation, are arguably the most neglected of the major synoptic traditions. The following bibliography is offered in hopes of stimulating research in this important complex of materials. It gathers the decisive books and articles on the synoptic accounts, a few commentaries of particular importance, recent dissertations, and representatives of the important but usually neglected long history of interpretation of the texts. Standard reference works such as Str-B and TDNT have been omitted"
