因此，性别控制在预防先天遗传性疾病或缺陷新生儿上有着重要的作用和意义。但是，性 别控制本身就伴随着流产等一系列颇具伦理争议的做法，更有甚者，滥用性别控制技术带来的 伦理问题也使这一技术的合理存在遭到质疑。
