Abstract
¿Cuál fue la relación de la iglesia con el imperio? A finales el 1º siglo, las cartas pastorales proponen un modelo de iglesia que puede ser aceptado por el imperio y se convierte en una religión lícita, dejando de ser considerada una superstición. Para ello son necesarias: una única doctrina, una organización sólida y la práctica de la “piedad”, expresión máxima de la religiosidad greco-romana. De eso es lo que tratan las cartas a Timoteo y la carta a Tito: la didaskalia, la doctrina, la instrucción; el proistemi, el gobernar, presidir; la eusebeia, la piedad, la religiosidad. Son palabras casi exclusivas de las cartas pastorales y constituyen los asuntos centrales de las mismas. En este ensayo nos vamos a aproximar críticamente a estos valores y a este modelo de iglesia.

Export search results
