STATUS KEPENGARANGAN HADIS-HADIS SUJUD ISTRI TERHADAP SUAMINYA PERSPEKTIF KHALED M. ABOU EL FADL

Abstract

This article discusses on the status of authorship of the hadits on the wives‟ submission towards their husband by using authorship concept of hadits Khaled M. Abou El Fadl. In hadits authorship concept, every hadits which is purposed to Prophet Muhammad SAW is the final result of an authorship process. To evaluate the voice of Prophet‟s authorship, Abou El Fadl gave four directive steps, i.e. the verification rationality based objection, proportionality logic, preciseness break, and faith based objection. Based on this manual, he concluded that the role of Prophet in the hadits on wives submission towards their husband is very minimal—instead of stating that in fact Prophet had no role inside of this. He suggested the emergence of these hadits is related to the dynamic of gender relationship in society of Arab Pan in the beginning of Islam intrusion. As had been known, Islam gave a very wide space towards the females to participate in Islam revolution. The parties who feel intimidated by their existence in public area, moreover the females are proven as capable to conduct their duties and bear given responsibility, strive to offense it. In order their reason can be accepted, thus it is suggested the discourses which dehumanizes the females covered by Prophet‟s hadits.
