Juvenile Offenders and the Death Penalty in the United States

Abstract

With the changes created by the Supreme Court decisions in Graham v. Florida, there has been a sea of change in the legal landscape in America regarding criminal punishment of juvenile offenders. Not only have the Supreme Court Justices changed their way of thinking in this regard, but the national and international communities hav a new “consensus” as well. This article attempts to bring these current developments into sharper focus.
