Statement on the draft bill of the Federal law relating to the transplantation of organs, tissues and cells (Transplantation Law, TxG)

Abstract

"In accordance with the Federal Council’s mandate, the ECNH issues statements on adherence to the ethical principle of respecting the dignity of creation and of preserving the safety of humans and the environment. According to Art. 120 Para. 2 of the Federal Constitution, the dignity of creation must be respected. The ECNH Statement on the draft of the present Law thus relates primarily to the ethical aspects of xenotransplantation with regard to animals." (p.1)
