Abstract
The Earth Charter Initiative is the collective name for the extraordinarily diverse, global network of people, organizations, and institutions who participate in promoting the Earth Charter, and in implementing its principles in practice. A growing number of activities have been taking place around the world inspired by the Earth Charter including book publications, children, youth and adults workshops, and projects within the private sector, academia and religious/ interfaith communities. These efforts are fueled by a profound sense of urgency to change the current paradigm and improve the well-being of Earth and the whole community of life
