Abstract
"Entre dos orillas" is a review of the hermeneutical discussion among Latin American and Latino theologians in the USA that address the reading of the Bible from a reader's response perspective. The authors reviewed include Juan Luis Segundo, Severino Croatto, Justo González, Fernando Segovia, Alfred Wade Eaton, Gilbert Romero, Jean Pierre Ruiz and other. The point of the essay is that the sociological context of the latino´s in the USA and the marginalized in Latin America serve as a paradigm of how the text is interpreted taking real readers seriously for a Puerto Rican and Caribbean re-reading of the Bible."
