RIBLA - 19 años de trabajo y 50 números publicados - Síntesis de nuestros logros más significativo [Riblah - 19 years and 50 issues published - Summary of our most significant achievements]

Abstract

"Llegamos al número 50 de nuestra Revista de Interpretación Bíblica Latinoamericana: RIBLA. El primer número fue publicado en el año 1988 y tenía como título: “Lectura Popular de la Biblia en América Latina - Una Hermenéutica de la Liberación”. Esa fue nuestra identidad fundante y nuestra orientación hacia el futuro. En ese camino nos hemos mantenido y hemos producido 50 números de la Revista. Este es un hecho grandioso y muy significativo en América Latina y el Caribe. En este artículo para el número 50 quisiera hacer una síntesis de los 10 logros más significativos que hemos alcanzado en estos casi 20 años de trabajo colectivo. No son logros dispersos, sino configuran lo que podríamos llamar una “escuela” o “corriente” propia en la interpretación de la Biblia en América Latina y El Caribe." "We have reached the 50th issue of our Latinamerican Biblical Interpretation Review. The first issue was published in 1988 and its title was: “Communitarian Reading of the Bible in Latinamerica – A Hermeneutic of Liberation”. This is our founding identity and orientation towards the future. We have mantained this path and have produced 50 issues of this review. This is a grandious fact and of much significance for Latinamerica and the Caribean. In this 50th issue I want to make a synthesis of the 10 most significant accomplishments we have reached in almost 20 years of collective work. These are not disperced accomplishments, rather they configurate our own school of thought in the interpretation of the Bible in Latinamerica and the Caribean."
