Abstract
The book of Jonah is different in every way (style, structure, and contents...) to the other prophetic books. The book of Jonah desires to prophesy over the prophecy and for this reason re-invents the style, copies and re-creates themes and arguments, dialogues with the traditions and supposed consensus. A fantastic novel, marked by the miracles, dialogues, journeys, and changes of scenery and of mood. A novel about human geography and its accidents. A critique of prophecy understood as fuel for nationalisms and exclusivisms. A sympathetic story where winds and animals are closer to God than Jonah the prophet"
