Abstract
This article brings a vision about the characteristics of the Gospel preached in the northern regions of Asia Minor, and the life world of the communities formed thereafter. Information is collected basically from the First Epistle of Peter and a letter of Pliny the Young to Emperor Trajan. We propose that Christianity is born from the marginal sectors of the local people, with a theological understanding related to contextual issues, with a strong ethical component and a profound devotional piety, that takes it to a martyrial witness face to face the imperial requirements"
