Abstract
With this essay an attempt is made to get deeper into the meaning of the expression in Mark 10,15, “...he or she who does not receive the Kingdom of God as a child will not enter into it”, located in the context of Old Testament tradition and of the slavocrat/patriarchal tradition of the First Century A.D., based on the perspective of a socio-symbolic exegesis. This way the intention is to recover the importance and the symbolic, sociaol and theological implications of this claim by Jesus, within an utopian perspective. We cannot continue to ignore this necessity. We must try to live it out prophetically in a patriarchal society such as our’s"
