Abstract
Based on the discussion of gender theory, this study defines an epistemotlogical privilege on the part of women, because of their greater socialization in the area of interpersonal relations. After examining Paul’s relationship to women friends and colleagues, this concrete praxis is used as a hermeneutical criterion in the analysis of certain texts regarding women and in the subsequent definition of Paul’s character"
