La prueba de los ojos, la prueba de la casa, la prueba del sepulcro [The eye test, home test, the test of the tomb]

Abstract

"En este ensayo sobre Qohélet, se busca situar la lectura de este libro en el contexto de la sociedad greco-judaica para descubrir cómo el pueblo, a partir del mirar crítico de la mujer, sabe resistir a toda dominación desde su cotidianidad, desde la experiencia de sus ojos, desde su mesa. En la primera parte se da una rápida pincelada para conocer mejor el fenómeno del helenismo, la “novedad” que se venía afirmando bajo el sol. En un segundo momento se intenta definir quién es la Qohélet que produjo este texto. Siguen tres pasos en los cuales se busca profundizar la crítica que Qohélet hace de su sociedad a partir de la aplicación de tres pruebas: la prueba de los ojos, la prueba del sepulcro, la prueba de la casa. Profundizando este último punto se descubre cuál es la auténtica y perenne propuesta de Qohélet, verdadera alternativa al proyecto judeo-helenista que estaba oprimiendo al pueblo de Judea"

"Inthis essay we want to put the reading of the book of Qohelet in the context of the greek-jewish society, in order to discover how the people —in the critic eye of the woman— could resist to a total domination, starting from his everyday life, the experience of his own eyes and of his dining table. In the first part we say just something to know better the phenoment of hellenism, the “newness” wich was coming out under the sun. Then we try to determine who is Qohelet who wrote this book. After this we quote 3 passages in order to deepen the understanding of the critic done by Qohelet of this society in 3 tests: the test of the eyes, the test of the sepulchre and the test of the house. Studying this last point we can discover which is the authentic and perennial proposal of Qohelet and this is a true alternative to the jewish-hellenist project that was opressing the people of Judea"
