Abstract
Report of an international and ecumenical meeting held from 17 to 27 July 2012 at Bukavu, eastern DRC, where three murderous wars had raged throughout the last 20 years. Armed groups there terrorise a population which is forced to endure miserable conditions of life, while the powerful and the traffickers enrich themselves more and more, plundering a land which is rich in deposits of gold, and where torture and sexual mutilation are inflicted on women of every age.
