Abstract
["This article aims at revisiting Durkheim’s The elementary forms of the religious life having Max Weber’s thought as a reflexive counterpoint, especially in his Social Psychology of the World Religions. It is not our intention to point out potential failures and/or verify the overcoming of the authors. Classics authors do not age. Our approach tries to detect archaeologically insights of both, in order to aid us (1) in reflecting about the contemporary religious phenomenon and (2) in observing its arrangements and re-semantization processes in modern societies".]
