Mujer, Discipulado y Misión Una reflexión a propósito de la V Conferencia de Aparecida [Woman , Discipleship and Mission A reflection about the V Conference of Aparecida]

Abstract

"Este artículo pretende recoger algunas de las líneas fundamentales trazadas por la V Conferencia General del Episcopado Latinoamericano y del Caribe sobre la mujer y su protagonismo social y eclesial. Se sitúa en la metodología del “Documento conclusivo”: ver-juzgar-actuar. Parte de “ver” la realidad actual de la mujer tal como la describe el documento completándola con otros aspectos que el mismo documento señala aunque no se refieran explícitamente a ella. Retoma el “juzgar” desde la profundización en el discipulado misionero y el despliegue de la vida laical, hilo conductor de todo el documento. Señala un “actuar” eclesial que haga posible la participación más efectiva de la mujer en su mismo seno y en la sociedad. A modo de conclusión el artículo finaliza invitando a la responsabilidad de todos y todas en la Iglesia para hacer posible un nuevo momento en esta hora de América Latina y el Carib". ["This article intends to offer some fundamental lines about the woman and her social and ecclesial protagonism, as were drawn up in the Fifth General Conference of the Latin America and Caribbean Bishops. Using the “see-judge-act” methodology of the Conclusive Document, it begins “seeing” nowadays women reality adding other aspects of the Document that do not have to do directly with women situation. Then the article “judges” women reality deepening missionary discipleship and lay life topics. These two subjects are the main statements of the whole document. After that, the article points out an ecclesial “acting” that makes possible a more effective and active participation of the woman in the society. Finally, the article ends calling out for responsibility of each member of the Church in order to make a new possible age, in this important moment of Latin America and the Caribbean region".]
