El Misterio de la Iglesia, Pueblo de Dios en Comunión [The Mystery of the Church People of God in Communion]

Abstract

"El autor, a partir de algunas secuencias fundamentales del proceso redaccional de la Lumen Gentium, ofrece comentarios e interrogantes acerca del documento mismo y de su recepción. Enfatiza fundamentalmente en la importancia del binomio Misterio- Pueblo de Dios como clave de acceso central al documento y llama la atención acerca del exilio de la categoría Pueblo de Dios con algunas de sus consecuencias. Finalmente se interroga acerca de la cuestión de lo “epocal” en la vida de la Iglesia y la necesidad de situarse frente a la historia, sus lenguajes y desafíos". ["Starting from some fundamental sequences of the writing process of Lumen Gentium, the author presents statements and questions regarding the document itself and its reception. He emphasizes especially the importance of the binomial “Mystery- People of God” as the key to enter the core of the document, and draws attention to the lack of the category “People of God” considering as well some of its consequences. At the end, he asks himself about the “epochal” matter, the very time of historical facts, and its influence on Church’s life concluding how necessary it is to face history, its languages and challenges".]
