Abstract
["Based on the uniqueness of the ecumenical movement, the author points out the importance of the ecclesiological issue as the only way to solve tensions due to different insights on the aims and nature of ecumenism. In this context, the author explains the meaning of the non-membership of Catholic Church within the World Council of Churches. Besides, theological dialogue has a proper place in order to sustain the unity of faith and fidelity to Catholic tradition as well. To encourage openness towards motions of the Holy Ghost means that this very Spirit is aiming at the unity of separate Christians. It becomes therefore necessary to find the signs of his presence in each time. The need to overcome those two challenges and assume a properly pneumatological move shows the place of “spiritual ecumenism”".]
