Abstract
"After a semitic period or form of Christian faith, there was the European and occidental form that has lasted for close to two thousand years. In the third millennium we will have to find a way toward a worldwide, plural Church with a community structure that fits into the present context of globalization. The steps toward such a Church model will have to include the reevaluation and empowering of indigenous churches, such as the church of San Cristóbal de las Casas, in the state of Chiapas (Mexico)."
