En el tercer milenio tenemos que encontrar un camino hacia una Iglesia mundial, plural, con una estructura comunitaria acorde al presente contexto de globalización. Los pasos hacia tal modelo de Iglesia tendrán que incluir la revaloración y legitimación de las iglesias indígenas, como es el caso de la iglesia de San Cristóbal del las Casas, en el estado de Chiapas (México)."
