Abstract
"In a world oriented by globalización, and at a time of vertiginous changes, particularly of social and cultural nature, the Base Ecclesial (Christian) Communities (known as CEB' s, for their Spanish acronym), based on the preferential option for the poor and an inspiration incarnated in the reality of Latin America, offer, from their limitations and successes, a ecclesial and social alternative for a reencounter with brotherhood/sisterhood and solidarity."
