Abstract
"The tragedy of forced displacement concerns not only the victims but society as a whole and even the academic output. The biblical research has discovered in Micah a prophet very sensitive to the peasants displaced by the voracity of landlords. With simple and courageous words he denounced those responsibles for such situation and made it clear how the suffering of the victims could be compared to an open wound in the Lord´s flesh. The drama of the Jewish peasants in the VIIth century B.C., as interpreted theologically by the prophet, is a clear lesson that helps to understand how should be the characteristics concerning the religious and theological endeavor in this kind of situation."
