Abstract

"El artículo plantea un cambio de paradigma en relacion con la Pastoral urbana, generalmente concebida como la accion de la Iglesia en la ciudad, al plantear lo urbano como una categoria englobante que supera los limites político-administrativos de las ciudades, que constituye una nueva cultura global, alimentada por los medios de comunicacion social y que surge como un desafio para la accion evangelizadora de la Iglesia al comenzar el tercer milenio." "The article deals with the change of paradigm related to the urban pastoral, generally thought as the action of the Church in the city, when it really comes to consider its urban character as something globalizing, going beyond the political and administrative boundaries of the city. This constitutes, in fact, a new global culture, nourished by the social mass media and it comes out as a challenge to the evangelizing action of the Church at the beginning of the third millennium."
