Abstract

"Quan un fi del tenia els seus dubtes de fe i preguntava als representants ofi - cials de l’Església del nacionalcatolicisme, la resposta solia ser la reafi rmació de la veritat teològica amb l’afegitó: «L’Església ja té doctors!» Una invitació de certa contundència a no preocupar-se més de la qüestió. Lluís Busquets i Grabulosa ha volgut fer camí precisament en direcció contrària al vell consell i per autopista..., fent un llibre voluminós de quasi cinc-centes pàgines: ha volgut endinsar-se en l’espessa selva dels problemes del Jesús de la història per explicar-los al gran públic.1 El gest és d’agrair. Primer, perquè així es fa palès que tenim un altre company en la ruta del clarobscur de la fe, sempre ple de sorpreses i d’interrogants. Segon, perquè és un nou testimoni públic de l’interès de la teologia en aquest nostre món que quasi sempre en passa. Tercer, perquè és bell el testimoniatge sobre Déu que dóna la seva confessió. Bonic i entranyable el seu credo personal, que de cap manera no exclou la confessió comunitària ofi cial lògicament d’abast (cf. pp. 15-16, 465-469). Molt ben fet també el resum dels entrellats dels primers concilis sobre les diverses maneres de proposar la fe en la divinitat i humanitat de Jesús, amb els seus estira-i-arronsa enmig de les ingerències polítiques de l’imperi bizantí i les diverses maquinacions, no sempre exemplars, dels dirigents de l’Església tant a Orient com a Occident (cf. pp. 266-276)".
