"La influència d’Eiximenis a Castella a través de les traduccions d’algunes obres seves és un tema poc estudiat, com correspon a un autor que ni tan sols en català no ha estat editat com calia. L’interès del tema no escapa a ningú, entre altres raons perquè s’inscriu en el flux de traduccions de tota mena que es van esmunyir d’un país a l’altre, d’una llengua a l’altra. La temàtica ha estat al•ludida des de diferents òptiques, però no estudiada com a fenomen global.
